Overview

Why We Created ACUTE STROKE:
Over 700,000 people in the U.S. suffer a stroke each year, many resulting in death or significant disability. Rapid diagnosis and emergency management can significantly improve outcomes. In addition, appropriate inpatient care and secondary prevention strategies also decrease morbidity and mortality.
